During my minor Game Techonology at the Hochschule der Medien in Stuttgart, Germany I worked on this game together with another student. The assignment was to analyze exisiting games and pick a system or mechanic from a game and develop this (with a twist). We designed and developed a flexible quest system prototype in which non-lineair quests could be created. I developed the dialogue system, which I inspired on the way the conversation system looks in the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt from CD Projekt Red. Our quest system was inspired by the quests of Horizon Zero Dawn from Guerilla Games. Here you can read some of our documenation in which we designed our Quest System: Quest System Design Document .
